INWAT Sp. z o.o., based in Łódź, was established in 1989. Since its inception, the company has been providing a wide range of specialized services for the power generation sector, industrial energy, and energy-related industries, both in Poland and abroad.

Our employees have carried out measurement, diagnostic, and modernization works in the majority of power plants in Poland, as well as in, among others, Estonia, India, China, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Serbia.

Our Solutions for the Power Industry

We conduct thermal and flow performance testing of steam and gas turbines as well as boilers. We carry out turbine modernizations and installations of new turbogenerators and auxiliary equipment, addressing individual customer requirements related to the optimal utilization of industrial combined heat and power plant operational capabilities.

Our scope of work includes the design and modernization of hot water and steam boiler plants, district heating sections, as well as the design of steam and water pipelines, turbine control and instrumentation systems, and auxiliary equipment. We also modernize turbine control systems by implementing electro-hydraulic regulation solutions.

We perform energy audits in industrial facilities.

Capabilities

The many years of experience of our engineering staff, specialized in turbine design and modernization, combined with close cooperation with maintenance and overhaul companies, enable us to deliver investment projects on a turnkey basis.

The development of our own high-efficiency blade profiles allows us to modernize flow systems of steam turbines of all types and capacities. We use proprietary computational software for thermal and flow calculations as well as system balancing.

We also utilize advanced, industry-leading software for finite element analysis (FEA) and for the design of complete power plants.

Experience

We employ a team of highly qualified engineers with many years of experience working in the power generation sector. The vast majority of our technical staff hold university degrees, including several PhD holders. For modernization projects carried out for power plants and combined heat and power plants, our employees have received awards in nationwide competitions as well as awards granted by the Ministry.

Our staff also hold numerous patents, utility model certificates, and awards recognizing their contributions to the power industry.

• Type D qualification certificates authorizing supervision of the operation of electrical equipment, installations, and networks, issued by SEP – Łódź Branch

• Type E qualification certificates authorizing operation of electrical equipment, installations, and networks, issued by SEP – Łódź Branch

• Type D qualification certificates authorizing supervision of gas-consuming equipment, installations, and networks, issued by SPE – Białystok Branch

• Type E qualification certificates authorizing operation of gas-consuming equipment, installations, and networks, issued by SPE – Białystok Branch

• Authorization to prepare energy performance certificates in accordance with applicable legislation

• Qualifications of an internal auditor of an Environmental Management System compliant with ISO 14001

• Qualifications of an Energy Management System auditor compliant with ISO 50001

• Qualifications as verifiers authorized to assess the accuracy of data included in annual reports and the validity of applications for certificates of origin from cogeneration

Integrated Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management System

In 2008, INWAT Sp. z o.o. obtained certification confirming that its quality management system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, within the scope of:

Design of equipment and installations, technical analyses and expert studies, research activities, thermal and flow measurements, and execution of investment projects on a turnkey basis.

In 2024, the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification granted the company an extension of the ISO 9001 certification for a further three years, confirming continued compliance with the standard.

As part of the adopted and implemented Integrated Management System Policy, key organizational objectives have been defined, focusing on continuous internal improvement and building optimal relationships with our clients. INWAT is currently in the process of implementing an Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
