Engineering design works |
We prepare design documentation for the thermal–mechanical, electrical and civil engineering sectors, including in particular:
design of process pipelines for water and steam,
technical designs and workshop documentation for flue gas and air ducts,
design of district heating sections, including their modernization and expansion in power plants and combined heat and power plants,
design of safety valve installations and other piping components, as well as corrosion protection systems,
thermal insulation design,
operating manuals for the thermal systems designed by us, including registration documentation for pipelines for the purposes of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT),
pressure vessels (heat exchangers),
electrical installation design,
design of automation systems, including development of control algorithms and controller software,
design of pipeline supports, service platforms for valve operation, and foundations for equipment installation.
Design works are carried out using CAD systems, based on calculations performed with state-of-the-art software utilizing the Finite Element Method (FEM).

In the design process, we apply computational methods that enable modeling of various operating conditions of machines and equipment. This allows for comprehensive analysis of strength and dynamic conditions and, on this basis, optimization of designs according to specific operational requirements and conditions.
For these purposes, we primarily use software based on the Finite Element Method (FEM). These tools enable functional (flow and thermal), strength and dynamic analyses of structures of any complexity.
We perform strength calculations in both the elastic and plastic ranges, under steady-state and time-varying loads.
Using our available software packages, we offer cooperation in analyses requiring specialized computational work, including, among others:
calculations of guide vane carriers (stator discs),
strength and vibration calculations of rotor discs,
strength and natural vibration mode analyses of rotor and stator blade assemblies,
casing analyses (thermal stresses, cracking phenomena, etc.).
static analysis including friction forces at supports,
analysis of natural and forced vibrations,
minimization of pipeline vibrations resulting from hydraulic transients (water hammer effects in water, condensate and similar flows).
analysis of hydroacoustic phenomena occurring during hydraulic transients in various media,
transfer of time-dependent pressure distributions obtained from calculations to mechanical pipeline models in order to determine stress histories during vibration.
analysis of thermal stresses occurring during start-up of machines or equipment (e.g. turbine units, boilers),
selection of heating curves and determination of maximum safe heating rates.
comprehensive strength and vibration analyses of thick-walled piping components and valves.
